About Me

Carsten Schmidt draws his experience from working as a consultant focusing on strategic IT management for over 20 years.

Before he started his own business as a freelance management consultant in 2018, he worked for two of the Big-4 Audit Firms / respectively their consulting arms.

The main steps of his career have been the following:

• Since 2018: self-employed as a freelance management consultant
• 2012-2018: Senior Manager CIO Advisory, KPMG Germany
• 2000-2011: Manager CIO Advisory, Deloitte Consulting Germany
• 1999: Graduated from the University of Paderborn with a diploma degree in business computing
